Guaranteed RAM
What exactly is the real main difference between the web hosting industry-related phrases ?regular RAM? and ?guaranteed RAM??
RAM is an abbreviation for Random Access Memory. This is a type of computer memory, that, different from other storage devices such as hard disks or DVDs, enables the information to be accessed directly without reading the previous content saved within it. Anytime an app is launched, it is stored inside the RAM, because it can be accessed much more quickly than if it was read from another media. With regards to the hosting service itself, extra RAM means that more web apps can run all at once on a given server, especially when they are resource-demanding and are accessed by a large amount of people at the same time. Different from a shared web hosting solution in which the resources of a particular account can be flexible and quite often depend on what other end users consume also, a VPS includes a guaranteed amount of RAM that can be used always. That memory is allocated to one hosting server only and shall not be used by other customers even when it is not used.

Guaranteed RAM in VPS Servers
All our
VPS server packages include a set amount of RAM. In other words, even in case you use only a tiny fraction of the system resources that your package offers, we will not allocate the free resources to another VPS account on the exact same physical hosting server. Because we create only a few virtual servers on a physical one, the latter will have sufficient free memory to guarantee the adequate operation of all VPS accounts even when their RAM allocation is upgraded considerably at some time. If you also opt to upgrade your plan or to keep the present one and to incorporate just more memory, the new amount shall also be reserved exclusively for your account. In this way, we ensure that your websites will operate effectively constantly whatever the other VPS accounts are using.

Guaranteed RAM in Dedicated Servers
The amount of RAM that comes with each and every
dedicated server which we offer you is sufficient enough even for extremely resource-demanding web apps. The memory shall be available for your Internet sites and any software you install on the server at all times, so even when at some point you use merely a fraction of the resources you have, we shall never alter the hardware configuration that you have ordered. All of the parts are examined before the hosting server is constructed, including the RAM sticks, to make sure that you will get a flawlessly operating server that will guarantee the best possible efficiency for your websites. The amount of physical memory which you have will be listed with the full web server configuration specifications within your billing Control Panel.
