A Control Panel is a software tool used to handle the content of an Internet hosting account. This can include, but is not limited to, files, e-mails, databases, stats and various operations executed with them. The CP offers a web-based interface to manage all of these things and anything else associated with the Internet hosting service via different sections where you can access features through menus and/or buttons. The simpler to use a Control Panel is, the simpler it'll be for you to control your online presence as a whole. In the typical scenario, the CP is the web hosting account’s back office, while a separate billing account is employed to manage payments and domain registrations - if the company provides that particular service. Trouble tickets can be addressed from the billing account or via a different system.
